Privacy policy

The short version: Cinetrio has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, contacts, location or photos. Your watchlist and history stay on your phone. To pick a movie, we send your three words to our server. Analytics run only if you say yes. Ads appear only if you choose to watch one. You can wipe everything with Settings → Delete my data.
Who we are

What stays on your phone
Your watchlist, your history of words and picks, your settings and your daily free-pick count are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.
What we never do
- No accounts, no email or phone number, no contacts, photos, microphone or location.
- We don’t sell or rent data, and we don’t send the words you type to analytics.
- No ads unless you tap “Watch ad”, and no personalised ads unless you agree in the consent form.
Your choices and rights
- Delete my data (Settings): erases your watchlist, history and settings, resets your install ID and analytics ID, and stops analytics until you agree again. Your daily free-pick count stays, so deleting can’t be used to get extra picks.
- Analytics: switch it off any time in Settings. Ad choices: change your ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Because Cinetrio has no accounts, most data we hold can’t be linked to you. If you write to us, we’ll help as far as we can identify your data.
- You can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or to the authority where you live.
International transfers
Cloudflare serves requests from the data centre closest to you. RevenueCat and Google may process data in the USA, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Children
Cinetrio is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change how Cinetrio uses data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Important changes will also be shown in the app.
